Transmission Fluid Exchange Service
Every 30,000 Miles

In order to qualify for the Lifetime Protection Plan on your automatic transmission system, you must return to Tveten's Auto Clinic every 30,000 miles to get a transmission fluid exchange service done on your vehicle.

Plan 1:
Vehicles with mileage of 0-36,000 miles at time of first service.
Coverage begins immediately after service is performed.
Automatic Transmission System Coverage: Up to $2,000.00

Plan 2:
Vehicles with mileage of 36,001-75,000 miles at time of first service.
Coverage begins 500 miles after service is performed.
Automatic Transmission System Coverage: Up to $1,000.00

Tveten's Specific Plan:
Vehicles with mileage of 75,001+ miles at time of first service.
Receive the cost of prior services off of future related repairs. Services must be performed at Tveten's Auto Clinic and must be performed at the proper intervals to qualify. Call and ask our Service Advisor for details.

Why is this service important?
Your vehicle's automatic transmission system is designed to transfer power from the engine to the wheels at a consistent level. Transmission fluid is subject to tremendous amounts of heat and wear and it fails over time as the viscosity changes.

	•	Replaces the friction modifiers of transmission fluid, which are depleted over time.
	•	Lengthens the life of the seals and clutches.
	•	Removes the worn clutch material that forms over time.
	•	Flushes transmission cooler, torque converter and valve body.

How often should I get it done?
Every 2 years or 30,000 miles. The service interval we recommend is moderate, and based on our observations of literally thousands of vehicles over the years.

Having a transmission fluid exchange every 30,000 miles and replacing transmission filters – for those that have serviceable filters – every 60,000 miles, will help ensure that your transmission lives a long and healthy life, getting you where you need to go.
